Anubhav Vaish

Anubhav is a CFA charter holder and an Chartered Accountant. He leads Group’s Investment & Financing Strategy and Process, he is responsible for asset allocation, investment decision making and portfolio management.

Having been involved in over 75 merger and acquisition transactions, totalling more than USD $6 billion over the past 19 years, Anubhav has extensive experience in principal investing and corporate finance across Europe, Asia and MENA. He has been working with market leading investment funds for the last nine years.

In his last role Anubhav was European CEO for a 1.5B Fund focused on Europe business and had a full investment lifecycle responsibility, Anubhav built a team, developed and implemented a sourcing and execution strategy in Western Europe. From 2013 to 2015, he worked in partnership with Rcapital, a leading UK private equity and turnaround investor. There, he led three of their largest and award-winning transactions while managing a full portfolio of companies. Anubhav has also worked as a portfolio manager for Aabar Investments, as well as an investment director with London hedge fund manager RP Capital Group.

Prior to joining the investment community, he worked at Ernst & Young for ten years across three countries. During his career, he has developed a robust skillset which includes business and financing strategy, commercial and financial due diligence, industry and competitor analysis, business planning, and financial modelling.

Vice President
Tom Ludt

Starting in 1993 with the Jonabell Farm organisation, Tom Ludt a Thoroughbred savvy with more than 20 years. Currently CEO of Horseco, Mr. Ludt has been exposed to several managerial position in which he left a mark of success.

He served as Chairman of the Board for Breeders Cup which has the highest standards of security, veterinary review and pre- and post-race testing in US racing, and endorse the recent recommendation issued by the Association of Racing Commissioners International (RCI) to eliminate the use of race-day medications in North American and the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. He remained a board member in the breeders cup till 2015.

Moreover he worked for the Stronach Group from 2103 -2016 and was previously was appointed by the Kentucky Governor to the Kentucky Racing Commission in 2005 and served through 2 Governors until 2012

During term at Vinery the stallion farm, he managed the successful careers of More Than Ready, Pioneer of the Nile, Congrats, Kodiak Kowboy, Peace Rules and Pomeroy to name some of the stallions that Vinery campaigned. He also raised and sold or raced many horses including, Friesan Fire, Western Aristocrat along with other Grade 1 winners throughout the world. Vinery created and successfully managed a program of buying and racing many yearlings sired by Vinery stallions to support the stallions and develop a long term strategy to assist the stallions in their breeding career.

Finally, he serves as Chairman of the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded in 1983 dedicated to placing former racehorses, as Trustee of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association.

Dermot Farrington

With over 20 years of experience Dermot Farrington is looked upon as a leading international bloodstock agent. He has advised some of the biggest names in the world racing & breeding. Furthermore he actively attends international bloodstock sales throughout the year while his area of expertise lies in the European, Japanese & Australian markets

He first gained relevant experience by working for leading international entities including John Oxx, Darley & Widden Stud where he stayed there for 8 years.

He then went on to set up his own bloodstock trading & advisory services which offers unique knowledge & skills to perform at the highest level. In the first 24 months ,he was able to purchase champion 2yo and sire of Black Caviar group 1 Winner Bel Espirit, ($9k yearling) ,1000 guineas winner Macedon lady ($24k) & group 1 winning and current mile record holder at Royal Randwick Ike’s Dream ($45K)

Currently Dermot has been responsible for the purchase , sale or management of some of the world’s leading bloodstock for some of the world’s leading owners. Among Winners owned, bred, purchased and traded by Dermot Farrington Bloodstock are:
