In winning two of his first three starts, the well-bred Verne proved himself to be a colt of tremendous promise. Trainer Annabel Neasham has always had a high opinion of the son of Snitzel and that was justified when an unlucky second on his debut. From there, he only improved to win his next couple of efforts and run himself into stakes contention.
Doing everything on raw ability as a juvenile, the future seems to be very bright for a colt that can number both Street Cry and Shamadal as part of his family. He is also a full-brother to G2 winner Thornum in addition to being closely related to high-class winners in Europe and the US.
