STAR HARBOUR

About The Horse

The impeccably bred Star Harbour was exceptionally unlucky not to win as a colt when demoted to runner-up by the stewards at Dundalk early in his career.

Exceptionally talented, a gelding operation seemed to unlock his full potential as he soon showed what he could do by running away with a Premier Handicap at Navan from 4lbs out of the weights. The three-year-old has since proved to be versatile by dropping down to a mile to win a strong looking Rated contest at Killarney with plenty to spare.

Trained by Ado McGuinness in Ireland, the son of Sea The Stars is out of winning mare Sioduil and a half-brother to two winners, including listed winner Mind Of Madness. Group winner Dragon Pulse features high in his family tree, while his standout relative is the dual G1 winner Shalaa.
