About The Horse

The impeccably bred Star Harbour was exceptionally unlucky not to win as a colt when demoted to runner-up by the stewards at Dundalk early in his career.

Clearly very talented, a gelding operation seemed to unlock his full potential as he soon showed what he could do by running away with a Premier Handicap at Navan from 4lbs out of the weights. A 15lbs rise in his mark followed to put him on the cusp of black type with exciting and valuable prizes awaiting in his future.

Trained by Ado McGuinness in Ireland, the son of Sea The Stars is out of winning mare Sioduil and a half-brother to two winners, including listed winner Mind Of Madness. Group winner Dragon Pulse features high in his family tree, while his standout relative is the dual G1 winner Shalaa.
