About The Horse

Impressive was the word on everybody’s lips after this stunning juvenile daughter of More Than Ready destroyed her nine rivals with a dominant winning debut in an 1100m maiden at Saratoga.

In what looked a strong race, she was soon in front and from halfway never looked in any real danger, stretching clear to win in style.

She is bred to be very useful; her dam, La Song, was narrowly beaten in the Grade 3 Lassie Stakes before being sold at Keeneland for $250,000. Trainer Steve Asmussen, who was very keen to train her after her impressive workout at the Ocala Breeze-Up in March, then ran her in the Grade 2 Adirondack Stakes, also at Saratoga but over 1300m. She never looked particularly comfortable on a track affected by rain and soon put than performance behind her with an excellent win in an Allowance Claimer at Oaklawn.
